Choir and Orchestra Announcement

December 18, 2025

Hey Music Team!

We only have one service this Sunday at 10:30 AM. We will be singing “Noel (He Is Born)” in that service. The band and orchestra areas are ready, and you are invited to play this Sunday. This will be our last time to sing until we resume choir rehearsals on January 18, so we can be ready to sing in the January 25 service. Enjoy the break. You have earned it.

YOU ALL WERE AMAZING. “The Story of Christmas” was outstanding. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, faithfulness, and determination. It truly made the difference. Over the three performances, we had right at 1,000 people come and experience “The Story of Christmas.” Praise the Lord. We saw so many visitors, and what a great opportunity to reach our community. Let’s pray that some of them return and that the Lord uses our ministry to draw people to Himself.

All the singers in the pageant were wonderful. Brandie, Lana, and Andrew were great as the temple singers. Pal was fabulous singing “Mary Did You Know.” Stephen nailed “O Holy Night.” The candles in the choir looked amazing. Brianna and David were both battling sickness, but they pushed through, and you could not even tell. They sounded great together! Marsha’s rendition of “Noel (He Is Born)” was tremendous. Awesome job!

Anne and I are thrilled with how each performance went, and we could not have done it without such dedicated people to serve alongside. Thank you. We had so many people tell us they had no idea there was a church in Greenville doing a production with this level of quality. Next year, we are going to do a better job getting the word out.

Did you see the review Sheriff Paula Dance posted? Here is what she wrote:
“I attended the FarmVille parade this morning, the Winterville parade this afternoon, and topped the night off at a play production of The Story of Christmas at Parker’s Chapel FWB Church tonight. When I tell y'all that this is a well put together production and play, I mean it. Incredible. Two shows tomorrow at 5 pm and 7 pm. If you can get there, go see it. Incredible. Job well done, Parkers Chapel. Job well done. Thanks for the invite.”

WOW. What an encouraging review.

Next year, we need to brainstorm ways to promote the pageant even more. I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on how we can do this.
